The story behind the work.
I'm Angela Racheal — a graphic designer and copywriter based in Nairobi, Kenya.
I work at the intersection of visual design and written communication, creating brand identities, publications, and campaign materials for mission-driven organisations, social impact teams, hospitality brands, and family-run businesses. My approach leans into clarity, clean systems, and a strong creative point of view — because good design should speak before it's explained, and good writing should feel like it was always there.
Over the past eight years, I've designed across sectors and scales — from regional reports for the United Nations Population Fund and the African Union, to brand identities for independent farms and hospitality ventures. I've shaped visual communications at Mawazo Institute, led creative strategy at Triple C Advisory, written campaign copy at Brainwave Communications, and supported crisis communications at World Vision East Africa.
What ties it all together is a belief that thoughtful design and precise language can make complex ideas feel simple, important work feel visible, and ambitious organisations feel like themselves.
When I'm not designing or writing, you'll find me exploring Nairobi's creative scene, collecting visual references from unexpected places, and thinking about how words and images shape the way we understand the world.
